In 2006 and 2011 respectively, ITS Contest opened up to the fields of accessories and jewellery. Both reveal a great mastery of specific techniques unique to each discipline, where technical prowess unleashes powerful creativity.
The essential and traditional materials push experimentation of natural resources such as wood, leather, metal and even from the plant world, for its poetic, inspiring and demanding character. Other materials of synthesis, invention and innovation complete this search for body artifice. Shoes, hats, bags, gloves and glasses extend and question the body, its mobility, its use and its dreamlike beauty. The jewellery, from imprints to prosthesis, renews what is no longer a fantasy but a representation and expression of the self. It shows as much as it reveals. Throughout the exhibition, the following jewellery designers are on display: Margherita Abi-Hanna, Shilpa Chavan, Yun Sun Jang, Hazuki Katagai, Asumi Maeda, Masaki Shimizu, Takahiro Ueno, Arnaud Zill.
In addition to the fashion creations, a dialogue is established with the accessory designers presented: Catalina Albertini, Takafumi Arai, Tamar Areshidze, Thomasine Barnekow, Nadide Begum Yildirim, Maria Bika, Dinu Bodiciu, Una Burke, Irene Bussemaker, Heather Blake, Rob Goodwin, Zara Gorman, Demna, Skye Gwillim, Carolin Holzhuber, Jil Jander, Hiroki Kataoka, Yeonghyeon Kim, Helen Kirkum, Chau Har Lee, Valentim Manuel Estevão Quaresma, Rebecca Marsden, Laura Olivella, Cat Potter, Paul Stafford, Justin Smith, Maiko Takeda, Sarah Williams (Tomkins), Jana Zornik.

Accessori & gioielli
Nel 2006 e nel 2011, rispettivamente, ITS Contest si è aperto a una selezione di creazioni nel campo degli accessori e dei gioielli. Nell’insieme rivelano le tecniche specifiche di ciascuna disciplina, superandole e dominandole con una potente creatività. I materiali essenziali e tradizionali spingono alla sperimentazione di risorse naturali come il legno, la pelle, il metallo e talvolta anche il mondo vegetale, per il suo carattere poetico, ispiratore ed esigente. Altri materiali di sintesi, invenzione e innovazione completano questa ricerca dell’artificio corporeo. Scarpe, cappelli, borse, guanti e occhiali estendono e interrogano il corpo, la sua mobilità, il suo utilizzo e la sua bellezza onirica. I gioielli, dall’impronta alla protesi, rinnovano ciò che non è più una fantasia ma una rappresentazione e un’espressione del sé. Si mostra tanto quanto si rivela. All’interno della mostra vengono presentati i seguenti designer di gioielli: Margherita Abi-Hanna, Shilpa Chavan, Yun Sun Jang, Hazuki Katagai, Asumi Maeda, Masaki Shimizu, Takahiro Ueno, Arnaud Zill.

Accessoires und Schmuck
Im Jahr 2006 öffnete ITS Contest seine Türen für Kreationen im Bereich Accessoires und im Jahr 2011 für Kreationen im Bereich Schmuck. Diese Objekte zeigen die spezifischen Techniken jeder Disziplin und sind das Ergebnis einer beispiellosen Innovation und Kreativität.
Die Wahl von essenziellen und traditionellen Materialien wie Holz, Leder, Metall ermöglicht das Experimentieren mit natürlichen Ressourcen aber auch manchmal Ressourcen aus der Pflanzenwelt, die einen poetischen und inspirierenden Charakter haben. Diese Forschung ist von anderen Materialien ergänzt, die durch Synthese, Erfindung und Innovation entstanden und die fast zu einem expressiven Bedürfnis werden.
Hinter euch auf der rechten Seite sind die Turnschuhe von Helen Kirkum mit ihrem Concept "Our Public Youth" zu sehen: ein großartiger Ausdruck von Nachhaltigkeit und ein perfektes Beispiel für Upcycling.
